Some of the gear listed on this webpage is Patrol gear, some of the Personal gear is not needed. We will review gear during the meetings leading up to Philmont. The most important gear to purchase several months before the trip is boots. Please discuss with the trip leaders, and get boots broken in before the trip. See also:
