Chris Reed

Chris Reed has been Scoutmaster since 2006. Between the ages of 8 and 18,
he was a cub-scout, boy scout, and explorer. Since then,
he has 15 years service as a scouter including 5 years as scoutmaster in the 1970’s.
His family has a strong outdoors focus including kayaking, canoeing, hiking,
snorkeling, skiing, camping, and boating.
Chris is particularly interested in whitewater canoeing, knife and axe, knots,
nature, and dutch-oven cooking. He is a brotherhood member of the OA and quietly
emphasizes the development of self reliance and leadership. His hobbies include
photography, cabinetmaking, and fishing. Chris has taught high school science
and math and coached high school wrestling. He has degrees in Natural Science
and Computer Science and works as a fellow engineer at an aerospace company.

Chris Reed
Jamie Maki has been Committee Chairman since 2008. While not a scout himself growing up,
he has been involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts since 2001.
He is currently serving his 15th year on active duty in the United States Air Force.
His hobbies include sports, graphic design and wood working.
Jamie taught leadership at the collegiate level for three years and has experience
conducting interviews with college-bound high school students.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering and works in the Information Technology field.
